Juliana’s workshop Chapter 46: Night sounds

Dinner time is spent in a plain atmosphere. Pasta moved an improvised table into the yard, found another chair, and three chairs leaned on the side. The room has not been cleaned up yet, at least under the dusty and cobweb ceiling, no one has an appetite to eat, and no one wants to eat a mouthful of dust, cobwebs or small spiders.

The three of them didn’t have time to prepare a good dinner. Everyone could only eat shriveled bread and jerky, as well as the water that Pasta drew from a nearby well—at least the water was clean. People rest assured. But Pasta had prepared some beer for himself, probably bought by the way when he was out.

The dinner was quickly settled, and there was nothing to pack. Lulunaka walked into the house, continued to organize, and checked the condition of the house. “At least I have to sort out a place to sleep before taking a rest tonight. Of course, there will be no spiders and other bugs crawling on my face.” Lulunaka said.

Pasta and Julius naturally cannot do nothing, just let Lulunaka, a young “girl”, do the work. When the night started to darken, Lulunaka lit an oil lamp that had been left for a long time and had just been oiled by her. It was placed on the side, and there was a little light in the house, which spread to the outside. In this lonely place, the firelight in the house became the only light.

Until the sky was full of stars, the three people ended the day’s work. The front hall in the house was barely cleaned up, the spider webs were smashed to pieces, and the ceiling did not seem to fall down at any time. Tonight, the three of them are going to be in this small front hall. As for the attic, the two rooms and the kitchen, they are temporarily out of use. The two rooms are not yet clean. The attic feels like putting anything on it will cause it to collapse, and the kitchen still smells bad. God knows what’s in it.

All three of them found a suitable place and lay down in a position that they felt comfortable. Julius lay down for a short time, tossing and turning, and finally got up restlessly, which happened to be discovered by Lulunaka who had closed her eyes for a while. Lulunaka’s eyes were half-open, looking like she was half asleep, “What are you doing?” Her voice also sounded very confused, and Julius seldom saw Lulunaka. Such a state, but he is not in the mood to pay attention to this now.

Pasta sat cross-legged by the doorway, closed his eyes, and looked like he was asleep, but he didn’t look like he was asleep. The movements of Julius and Lulunaka did not make him react, and it did look like he was really asleep, but the reason he didn’t want to make do with it could not be ruled out.

“That haunted rumor.” Julius said, “It’s late at night.”

Lulunaka rubbed her eyes, and laughed when she heard this, “This is what you are worried about, so keep waiting.” After speaking, Lulunaka turned around and changed I went to sleep in a posture.

Julius was uneasy, but he didn’t want to really show weakness, otherwise Lulunaka would laugh at him for several days. After thinking about it, Julius lay down and closed his eyes. He is not really afraid of the existence of ghosts. He has even seen active dead people. Ghosts are just one of them. It is not worth fearing. What he is worried about is whether the rumored things will happen when he is asleep. Dive into a dream, or just startle yourself with screams. In short, Julius never admits that he is afraid of ghosts.

After closing his eyes for a long time, Julius frowned and went into his sleep. There was a sound of even breathing. None of the three of them had a very ugly sleeping appearance, and no one snored. If you have to say it, the purring is probably more annoying than the whispers of a ghost.

But when the vague voice is really heard, Julius feels completely different.

When he heard that voice, Julius opened his eyes abruptly. Because of anxiety in his heart, Julius was actually not in peace when he fell asleep, and a little movement might make him sleep unsteadily.

He straightened up and sat up, and began to look around. The surrounding scenery is no different from when he first lay down, and everything in front of him is not a dream, nor is there any abnormality. The only unusual thing to say is the sound that rang in his ears.

This is a female voice, which seems to be talking, but he can’t understand what it is saying at all. This voice didn’t have the ethereal feeling and hoarse voice like the necromancer, it sounded like a woman whispering in her ear. Julius rubbed his ear vigorously, but the voice did not disappear. He covered his ears, and the voice became quieter. It sounded like there is a membrane-because he covered his ears with his hands. If this doesn’t affect it, then the sound is probably coming from his brain. Yes, Julius is thankful that this is not the case.

He looked around, but couldn’t find the source of the sound. If you are not mistaken, this is the haunted incident in that rumor. Except that he was a little nervous when he woke up at first, Julius is not very scared now. Although I couldn’t find where the sound came from, it sounded like a woman talking next door. It wasn’t gloomy, and he couldn’t understand what the sound was saying, which made the fearful emotions even weaker.

He looked at Lulunaka and Pasta, both of them seemed to be asleep. This sudden sound was not loud, and it seemed a bit difficult to get the sleeper up.

He looked a little flustered, but he didn’t dare to make too much movement. He didn’t think Lulunaka and Pasta would make a good face when they were awakened, although Pasta plate Sitting there looked like he was just closing his eyes and resting.

When Julius didn’t know what to do, she could only listen to the strange female voices coming from her ears, and when her heart gradually became more uneasy, Lulunaka turned her back to him and said A dreamlike voice, “The signal is not good…it’s annoying…”

Lulunaka was saying something that Julius didn’t understand. He understood every word and word that Lulunaka said, but he just couldn’t understand what it meant. He looked at Lulunaka’s face and remembered what happened for a while. Now Lulunaka, who was asleep, had the expression that her face should have, instead of the usual witch with a devilish smile.

While Julius was thinking about something inconsequential-which would also distract him from listening to the strange sound-Lulunaka, whose face was facing him, suddenly opened her eyes. Opening his eyes, Julius was taken aback.

Lulunaka’s eyes opened, it didn’t look like she just woke up from her sleep, it was more like she had already woke up, but she didn’t open her eyes and waited for this opportunity now. I want to scare Julius. “Can’t you sleep?” she asked, but it sounded more like asking knowingly.

Julius lowered his voice and said to Lulunaka: “Did you not hear that voice?”

Lulunaka blinked and looked curious, “What sound? If you are talking about the wind, now this season, it’s still on the beach~ IndoMTL.com~ There are indeed a lot of noises at night, but I don’t think it’s enough to make you sleepless, right?”

Julius’ eyes widened. Didn’t Lulunaka hear the sound? Could it be that he heard it all by himself, is it just his own problem?

Before Julius became nervous, Pasta on the other side also spoke, and Julius was taken aback again, “It’s not your problem, don’t think so much, kid—I’ll listen. Here.”

Although I was scared by Pasta, because I was scared by Lulunaka before, Julius quickly recovered this time, and after hearing Pasta’s words, Julius frowned and looked at To Lulu Naka, “You are scaring me.”

“That’s not my problem, you are too timid.” Lulunaka stood up and stretched her waist. “This voice is not as sweet as the sound of the wind. It does disturb your dreams.”

Lulunaka left the house, and it didn’t take long for her voice to disappear. When Lulunaka came back, she didn’t say anything, and lay down.

“Why did the voice disappear?” Julius asked, but Luluñaka hadn’t moved for a long time, and because she was facing Julius and Pasta, no one could see her face. It didn’t take long for Lulunaka to hear a steady breathing. She fell asleep—at least that’s how she expressed her attitude to Julius and Pasta. No one wanted to test if she really fell asleep, or bothered to bother them.

Since Lulunaka responded in this way, Pasta and Julius had nothing to say, one continued to sit cross-eyed, and the other lay back. After Julius closed his eyes, he never heard the female voice again, there was only a slight wind in his ears, and the vaguely audible sound of waves. These sounds are like lullaby, making him fall asleep quickly.
