Juliana’s workshop Chapter 17: They have changed

A square with a strange circular pattern. When Lulunaka and the others fell here, there seemed to be no change in this place. There is no depression in the ground, no openings, only flat ground. But Lulunaka and the others disappeared, and white mist filled this place.

Maybe Lulunaka and the others fell and the ground returned to its original state, or… the fall was just Olga and the others’ illusion? The parties are not here, no one asks questions, and no one knows the answer.

I don’t know how long it has passed before Padin appeared in the thick fog. He didn’t seem to be in good condition, his face was exhausted. Seeing himself appearing in this white mist, Padin breathed a sigh of relief from the bottom of his heart-this pale and disturbing mist was cuter than anything he had ever seen, especially when it happened until just now. At all times before his eyes.

How long has it been since ? Padin raised his head and looked at the sky, but he could only see thick fog, which completely covered the sky…No, or it should be said that the fog covered him.

Paddin lowered his head and looked at the ground. For him, the stone bricks on the ground are already worthy of nostalgia. He stepped on the ground hard, without the feeling of stepping on the hollow floor. There should be mud and rocks underneath, not empty. So the feeling of falling is really just an illusion? If it was an illusion, where are the others who should have been here now?

Padin looked around, but couldn’t see anyone other than him. But it didn’t take long before Padin saw the others.

In the mist, a tall figure approached him, which made Padin a little nervous at first, wondering what was coming. But after seeing the person’s face, he was relieved.

Olga was approaching. Padin felt like he hadn’t seen Olga for a long time-although he didn’t know if it was his own illusion or the time in reality had really passed so long. But seeing Olga’s appearance gave Padin the feeling that he might have disappeared for a long time.

Olga’s old face looks the same as before. In Padin’s view, if there is anything different from the past, then Olga’s expression is probably different from before. Olga’s face gave Padin a strong feeling, the old man in front of him, in this strange environment, his expression was too calm and peaceful.

“Should I say that it’s been a long time? Edgar.” Olga spoke to Padin first. When Padin heard Olga’s words, his heart relaxed a little. The old man in front of him shouldn’t be a fake, and it seems that Olga’s experience with him is similar.

“How long has it been?” Padin asked.

   “No dawn…burning night.” Olga replied.

To Olga’s strange answer, Padin didn’t seem surprised. He just shook his head. “I’m in a closed space where I can’t even see the sky. I don’t know how long it’s been. The touch has become dull and fuzzy.”

“That’s definitely not a short period of time.” Olga said.

”But that seems to be just an illusion caused by an illusion.” Padin said, “So, how long have we passed in reality?”

Olga was silent for a while before continuing to speak, “That may be just a… dream. But this dream is real, and it seems to make you and me different.”

“If it’s just a long dream, you and I seem to have changed a bit,” Padin said.

“You can feel it, too,” Olga said. Padin nodded, “Where is the person who made us have a strange’dream’ now?” He asked, looking at the surrounding fog, “Or, she also fell into her own hallucinations?”

“There is no doubt that this matter must have something to do with her.” Olga’s hand touched her waist, the hilt of the sword was no longer hot, it was as cold as a piece of ice. “Only when you find her can you know the answer.”

“I don’t know if I will have the courage to question her, Olga.” Padin said, looking a little wilted. “I am no more ignorant than I was yesterday. I am more ignorant than I was yesterday. Sober…because of this, the things that can be felt have become more, and the thing about Lulunaka… is even more frightening.” Padin looked at Olga, “What will you say? A mood?”

Olga was silent for a while before he answered Padin, “At least, I hope she will stop playing with other people’s lives.”

“She is already doing this.” Padin said.

The two didn’t talk for too long, and now that Julius and Lulunaka are gone, it’s not a good time to talk. They still haven’t figured out what Lulunaka did, that would allow them to enter a strange illusion—or a dream—what kind of situation Julius is doing now, and Lulunaka is doing it again. What, Olga is worried about.

Olga heard strange noises from some buildings around this square. He followed the prestige, and in this mist, the building that was barely visible was not far away, which also convinced him that he had indeed returned to reality.

Padin also heard the movement and looked over there with Olga. “I heard.” Padin said.

“Me too, it sounds like Julius’ voice,” Olga said, and then quickly walked towards the building that made the noise, and Padin followed him.

Olga walked in and saw Julius immediately. Julius sat down against the wall, his legs straightened forward and his head tilted to one side, looking like a pose of a wounded man.

“It seems that people have not really disappeared.” Paddin said, “Then where is Lulunaka?”

“I don’t know. But let’s solve the immediate problem first.” Olga said, walking to Julius and squatting down. Julius closed his eyes, looking like he was asleep, Olga shook his shoulder vigorously, without responding. “If he is dreaming, then this dream looks too ordinary.” Olga said, “It’s not like a nightmare, and it’s not like a dream.”

“If you say that, you and I seem to have nightmares.” Padin said~IndoMTL.com~Can you wake him up? “

Olga tried it, and even patted Julius’ face hard, but it didn’t work. “No, it seems that this dream is not so easy to leave.”

”Maybe he has to be like you and me, and he can wake up on his own.”

“I don’t know if he can do it on his own.” Olga said, looking at Padin, “You and I can do it, it doesn’t mean he can bear it as a child.”

At this moment, a purple mark appeared on Julius’ forehead. Olga reached out and touched Julius’ forehead. This mark made Julius’ skin slightly sunken. He touched the side of Julius’ head and the back of his head again, and touched the same marks.

This purple scar looks like a headband, which is placed on Julius’ head.

The corners of Julius’s mouth with his eyes turned upturned and smiled, as if he had had a good dream. But Olga didn’t think that Julius’s dream now was a good dream, it should be a nightmare disguised as a beautiful dream.

Padin also saw what was on Julius’ head, “It doesn’t feel good to people, that’s definitely not a good thing.” Padin said, “No matter what he encounters in his dream world, if If this continues…”

“I have to wake him up.” Olga said, and then pressed her palm on Julius’ forehead. “God knows what he is seeing now, but the worst case is better than in a dream. See Lulu Naka to be strong.”

“I’m guarding you and Julius.” Padin said, and then sat cross-legged near the door, “If Lulunaka shows up… I hope she will help this kid.”

“I hope so.” Olga closed his eyes, his eyes glowed white, pierced through the eyelids, and landed on Julius’s closed eyes.
