Today you can sale everything on Internet. Just name it, and there’s probably at least one listed somewhere for sale now.

The presence of marketplaces such as Amazon.com, eBay.com, Buy.com, Overstock.com, Craigslist.org and many others provide almost limitless opportunities for buying,selling and trading online.Some people's minds just brim with imagination and few of them managed to use the existing opportunities and to put for sale items that an ordinary person is even difficult to imagine.Even more-the items listed here were not just put up for sale.They were actually sold.


1. The world’s largest business jet dealer Tyler Jet sold on eBay a Gulfstream II Jet,back in 2001.One the most expensive items ever sold on the popular marketplace was bought by a charter aircraft ompany located in Africa for $4.9 million.


2. The widow of the famous enterpreneur Richard Poncher sold the burial plot of her husband for more than $4.6million (about £2.8million) on eBay.The body was in a crypt directly above the resting spot occupied by the Hollywood legend Marilyn Monroe.The widow Elsie Poncher told the LA Times that she hoped to make enough money to pay off the $1.6m mortgage on her Beverly Hills mansion.In 1992 the vault next to Monroe's was sold to Hugh Hefner ,the Playboy publisher for $75,000.


3. The English traveler and writer Ian Usher, sold his "life" for $302,292. In 2008 The man from Durham placed a “life for sale” listing on eBay.This included his house,car,his job and introductios to all of his friends in Perth(Austarlia).The life of Usher, was bought anonimously,following a rocky marriage that unfortunatey,or fortunately for him ended up in a divorce.


4. The original Hollywood sign and American cultural icon,created in 1923 was sold for $450,400 in 2005. The seller had bought the sign two years before from a man who acquired it after the city put up a new sign in 1978.


5. A company called SnoreStop used the face of the web developer Andrew Fischer to advertise its snoring remedy.The exotic Ad space on a guy's forehead, in the form of a temporary tattoo, went for $37,375 in 2005.As per Wall St Journal the origin of Forehead Advertising can be attributed to John Carver and his London Creative Agency.Later on such advertising was used by other companies,for example TOYOTA used it in 2004 for promotion of its Scion tC.


6. Ronald Reagan’s Blood sample fetched $30,000 on eBay.The vial with the sample along with some documents was in possesion of a hospital staff member, who assisted former president Ronald Reagan after his failed assassination . But when she died, her son sold it in an auction for $3,500. The buyer knew it was worth more than that, so later it was sold on eBay, where bidding reached $30,000.


7. A corn flake shaped like Illinois went on eBay for $1,350 in 2008. Two sisters from Virginia (not Illinois) put it up for sale, and the owner of the website TriviaMania.com bought it in the auction,which lasted more than a week.


8. A great weekend, full with fun with four Australian men went for about $920 in 2006. The men said they wouldn't pay for travel costs, but promised a weekend full of "some beers, some snags, some good conversation and a hell of a lot of laughs."


9. A jar of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's exhaled breath was sold for $530 (£340) on eBay in 2010 by Joe Wilson,a celebrity spotter.He carried an empty jar with him while in the presence of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt and claimed that molecules of the couple’s breath had made it into the jar, by standing near them.


10. The "meaning of life" was sold for $3.26 in 2000. The seller claimed, "I have discovered the reason for our existence and will be happy to share this information with the highest bidder." Eight people were curious enough to participate and place bids.
